Sabine Pass LNG Marine Terminal
Moffatt & Nichol provided EPC marine engineering design for the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal on the Sabine Waterway, approximately 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. The terminal features two unloading berths, trestle, access gangway, fire-monitoring tower, and shoreline revetment.
Kitimat LNG Terminal
Moffatt & Nichol completed site selection, navigation assessments, regulatory application support, preliminary design, and detailed design for the marine works of a new LNG export terminal that had to leave a minimal footprint on the site’s sensitive aquatic habitat.
Chevron Richmond Long Wharf
Under various contracts, Moffatt & Nichol has provided inspection and condition surveying services, seismic loading analysis and upgrades, MOTEMS auditing, time-domain mooring analysis for lightering operations,and repair and rehabilitation support for Chevron’s Long Wharf in Richmond, CA.
Ocean Compressed Air Energy Storage
