Under an IDIQ contract with the NAVFAC Service Center, Moffatt & Nichol provided waterfront facilities inspection services for 29 different structure types at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA, including revetments, wharves, piers, bulkheads, fender systems, and dry docks.
Former Navy Pier 11A Rehabilitation
Moffatt & Nichol assisted the Unified Port of San Diego with evaluation of the strategically located former Navy Pier 11A in San Diego, CA, by conducting above- and below-water inspections, analyzing rehabilitation options, and providing PS&E for the recommended repairs.
Berth Lima Conversion
Moffatt & Nichol served as Prime A-E consultant for this critical design-bid-build project to upgrade the wharf at NAS North Island in San Diego, CA, to support the home porting of the nuclear air craft carrier USS Carl Vinson.inspection and rehabilitation
