Moffatt & Nichol Welcomes Shervin Zarmehrbakhsh

We are excited to welcome Shervin Zarmehrbakhsh to our New York office! Shervin brings more than 23 years’ experience in structural engineering , focused on the analysis and design of marine structures. Shervin is a multidisciplinary licensed structural engineer with over 23 years of experience working on complex technical designs, including new construction, rehabilitation, and retrofit projects. His expertise includes analysis, design, and rehabilitation of structures with a specialization in waterfront and maritime projects, including piers, jetties, wharves, bulkheads, dolphin structures, navigation aid structures and moorings, oil piers, container terminals, and underground structures as well as bridges. His responsibilities have included performing technical analysis, providing technical guidance as lead designer, and troubleshooting complex issues to develop creative solutions. Shervin has worked in a wide variety of specialties with clients from private to governmental agencies on small to multi-billion-dollar projects including construction services, traditional design-bid-build, and design-build projects.

Shervin received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran and his Master of Science in Earthquake Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran. He is a registered professional engineer in New York and Connecticut.
